Filter fleece 100 x 45 x 0.5 cm

This filter fleece is ideal for covering under gravel filter plates to prevent smaller parts of the substrate falling between the gaps. It also gives the under gravel filter an additional biological layer, enhancing the filtration capacity. The filter fleece is also suitable for other purposes like universal filter medium (easy cuttable). When using the fleece to cover a under gravel filter the following order can be maintained from top to bottom; 1) under gravel filter, 2) filter fleece, 3) substrate.
